About Christine…

She is a woman deeply grounded in her faith, her family, and her forums. Every day she encourages individuals - including herself - to “imagine the possibilities of LIFE.” For her, the issues of life and death are very real. On the one hand, she is the CEO of a Life-Affirming Pregnancy Medical Clinic. On the other, she is also living with metastatic breast cancer.

For 25 plus years, she has been the wife of one man, Mark Vatuone. He takes good care of her, and he is the real adventurer in her life. She enjoys being the passenger when he is behind the wheel. Together, they have parented three remarkable children who are now young adults. Anna, Daniel and Michael do their best to keep her “current” and she enjoys spending time with them as they embark on their own life adventures.

She is also a woman deeply grounded in her faith. Her journey as a Christian has been marked by trusting God through a good deal of trauma - childhood trauma, physical suffering, and currently stage 4 cancer have tested her faith. Her God has proven Himself faithful time and time again. Her faith is deeply etched into every story she tells, including her own.

She has been “pro-life” since she was about 13 years old. She grew up in Minnesota - a place that requires one to be able to handle the “elements.” No whiners allowed! When a friend invited her to walk around the State Capital on an anniversary of Roe v. Wade - in January! - She said yes. She remembers how frozen her feet were. She also remembers being deeply drawn to the cause of Life. Today, She is the CEO of Informed Choices, a life-affirming pregnancy help clinic in Gilroy, CA. She is moved by the stories of the women and families she serves, and these stories are intertwined with her own. As she encourages them to “Imagine Life” - it is also very evident to Christine that God asks the same of her, and has been ever since she, Christine Merry Vatuone, was born on December 29, 1964…4 days after Christmas…on Evergreen Lane.
